We arrived
at a Maryland campground near Washington D.C. on Monday, June 25th and have
been on a whirlwind of activity ever since. There were so many places and
things that we wanted to see that we returned to camp exhausted every
night.
On Tuesday
we started with a walk to the White House and then tackled one half of the mile
long National Mall from the Smithsonian Museum of American History, World War I
and II Memorials, Vietnam Wall to the Lincoln Memorial and back again.
